CT_Sans

CT_Sans

CT_SANS takes the visual logic of medical CT scanning and applies it to typography. Each letterform is treated as a three-dimensional object being scanned — sliced layer by layer to reveal its internal structure as the scan plane moves through it.

The animated version shows this process in motion. Static variants capture individual cross-sections, where a single slice becomes the letterform itself. It comes in three variations — Sans, Serif and Mono — each processed through the same methodology, each with its own volumetric signature. It's typography that sits somewhere between communication and diagnostic imaging. Letters as specimens.
